Jim Albanese

President and Chief Technology Officer

As President and Chief Technology Officer, Jim is responsible for the strategic direction of Unlimited Bandwidth. Jim’s approach of committing to make the short-term sacrifice for long-term gain can be seen in the strong year over year profitable growth of Unlimited Bandwidth. Jim’s vision has allowed Unlimited Bandwidth to grow organically, without the pressures of outside investors or long-term debt. He has an obvious passion for technology, and understands the potential it holds for customers of Unlimited Bandwidth.

Before Unlimited Bandwidth, Jim had spent over 10 years directing engineering design and development for industry leading carrier-class equipment providers. He has an intimate knowledge of all aspects of the network. His design experience spans virtually every circuit from 1200-baud 4-wire analog to high-speed fiber optic equipment. Walk in to any central office, and one can find dozens of network elements in which Jim has contributed significantly to their design.

Jim earned his Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. He earned his Bachelor of Science with a dual minor in Business and Philosophy from Bradley University.

Jim has been selected for inclusion in the Who’s Who is Science and Engineering 10th Anniversary Edition. He has been named as an inventor on numerous US patents and patent pending applications.

Jim is a PADI certified advanced open water SCUBA diver and an avid saltwater fisherman. He lives in Lake Barrington, Illinois with his wife and son.

Marty Bernritter

Senior Vice-President of Sales and Services

In his role as Senior Vice-President of Sales and Services, Marty is responsible for the leadership and coordination of the sales team and distribution partners. With a vision of sales and service going hand in hand, he is committed to continuously improving Unlimited Bandwidth’s best in class customer service.

Marty has over 25 years of executive experience in sales, marketing, project management and customer support. His career has been devoted to working closely with the incumbent local exchange carriers to develop industry-leading products. Previous to this, Marty had spent seven years working for a major telephone company.

Throughout his career, Marty has won numerous sales awards. He has also completed class work at a technical institute.

When he isn’t on the road, Marty enjoys spending time with his five grandchildren. He is an aspiring chef that practices his cooking weekly. He lives in Spotsylvania, Virginia with his wife.

Eric Bergstrom

Vice-President of Operations

Eric oversees the supply chain and logistics of Unlimited Bandwidth. His implementation of industry leading procedures guarantee that Unlimited Bandwidth’s customer base receives the most cost effective and highest quality products and services.

Previous to Unlimited Bandwidth, Eric has directed and managed component engineering groups and design teams. He has a wide array of expertise in consumer electronics, carrier-class transmission and test instrumentation. His career has spanned from multi-billion dollar corporations to entrepreneurial three man start-ups. Eric always makes an everlasting positive impact.

Eric earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue. He has also completed graduate level class work in management. He is named as an inventor on a handful of US patents.

When he is not busy spending time with his five children, Eric enjoys geo caching and is an accomplished musician.

Larry Demuth

Director of Manufacturing and Quality

Larry’s focus is on complete customer satisfaction through the highest quality finished goods. He has implemented numerous practices and policies that support his goals of continuous improvement and defect prevention.

Before Unlimited Bandwidth, Larry had spent 14 years in the manufacturing, testing and engineering environment for leading medical device and carrier equipment manufacturers. Previous to that he spent six years at sea with the US Navy, where he oversaw the maintenance, repair and calibration of guidance and weapon systems.

In his spare time he enjoys remodeling, biking and swimming.
